Job Description:
• Job holder will manage product introduction and growth to ensure that consumer lending products remain relevant to customers and the bank; contributing significantly to the attainment of the overall CB profit objectives in Nigeria.
• Identify, plan, coordinate and implement new products development programmes.
• Manage the continuous growth of existing portfolio of lending products by structured marketing to achieve stated financial objectives and agreed market share.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
• Innovate, develop and launch new Unsecured and Secured Lending products, channels and services for target customer segments with a view to increasing overall Consumer Banking business.
• Pro-actively research target customer’s needs to identify opportunities for new Lending products and services and review and monitor competitors’ product offerings to ensure a competitive edge for own product offerings.
• Develop and co-ordinate marketing and distribution strategies for each product: including promotions, advertising, pricing and marketing development.
• Track and analyze the performance of Lending products against targets on regular basis and including justification and execution for re-pricing when necessitated by changes in market conditions.
• Establish control mechanisms to track and evaluate results of each advertising/marketing campaigns to ensure that all objectives are achieved in conjunction with marketing department.
• Optimize market penetration by deepening existing relationships and sourcing for new acquisitions.
• Manage organization relationships with focus on improving customer experience and generating additional referral business.
• Work closely with direct sales on achieving penetration target for all companies.
Portfolio Management
• Analysis of portfolio against set triggers as specified in the PDD
• Extraction of top-up data
• Recommending pricing for different segments
• Managing anti-attrition programmes
AML/KYC/STR
Ensure to remain alert to the risk of money laundering and assist in the bank’s efforts in combating it by adhering to the key principles in relation to:
• Identifying and knowing your customers, reporting suspicions, safeguarding records and not disclosing suspicions to customers.
• Ensure your staff are trained in combating money laundering.
• Adhere strictly to the Bank’s Code of Conduct.
• Ensure that effective arrangements are in place within the jobholder’s area of business responsibility for the prevention of money laundering in line with Group policy and standards, local legal and regulatory requirement, based on guidance from the country MLPO. In appropriate communication with staff, emphasize the need for all employees to know and adhere to the money laundering guidelines.

• Achievement of P&L
Qualifications & Skills
- A good first degree in any discipline. Knowledge of accounting and relevant professional qualifications are added advantage.
- A minimum of 4/5 years working experience related to:
• Understanding of key drivers of consumer choice and decisions as well as knowledge of techniques to measure and influence consumer behaviors.
• BIU/Product Design/Sales/Campaign execution/Portfolio performance, Cell testing and scenario planning in Consumer Bank products.
And in addition,
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong analytical & problem solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
In compliance with the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Act of 2004, all applicants should ensure that they have completed the mandatory NYSC programme. A discharge certificate will be required as evidence of completion of the programme. Where an exemption has been granted, a certificate of exemption will also be required.
